Terms & Conditions

V.1 · Last updated: September 27, 2026

These terms apply to heartbeatsharbor.ca, the Heartbeats' Harbor community on GoKollab, and everything you buy or join through us: memberships, courses, and products. By using the site, joining the community, or making a purchase, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund & Cancellation Policy, and our Disclaimers.

"Heartbeats' Harbor," "we," "us," and "our" mean Brianna Beaumier (also known as Bri Leiðarljós and Bri Hosack), operating as Heartbeats' Harbor, P.O. Box 1221, Gibbons, Alberta, Canada, T0A 1N0. "You" means the person using the site or services.

1. Who can join

You must be 18 or older to join the community or buy a membership, course, or product.

2. Memberships

Heartbeats' Harbor has three tiers:

The Village (free): the main community space.

Anchors' Alcove (paid): the course & content archives, the Anchors' Alcove channel, and full paid Substack access, plus everything in the Village.

Lighthouses' Lookout (paid): the Lighthouses' Lookout channel, monthly Fireside at the Lookout calls and their recordings, plus everything in Anchors' Alcove and the Village.

What's included in each tier is described on its page at the time you join. We may add, change, or retire courses, channels, or features over time.

3. Payment and billing

Prices are in US dollars.

Paid memberships renew automatically, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you chose, until you cancel.

By joining a paid plan, you authorize us, through our payment processors (Stripe or PayPal), to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period.

If a payment fails, access to paid areas may pause until it's resolved.

If we change the price of a membership, we'll give active members at least 30 days' notice before the new price applies to their next billing.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel anytime. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you've already paid for, and you keep full access until then. After that, your account moves back to the free Village unless you choose to leave the community entirely.

To cancel, go to Billing & Subscriptions in your account settings in the client portal. Step-by-step instructions are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you can't log in or run into trouble, email [email protected].

5. Refunds

Paid memberships, courses, and digital products are non-refundable. Access to everything included begins the moment you purchase. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details and the exceptions.

6. Courses and digital products

Courses bought on their own are a one-time purchase, with ongoing access for as long as Heartbeats' Harbor offers that course.

Courses included with a membership are available while your membership is active.

Digital products (downloads, audio, PDFs) are for your personal use only.

7. The community

Heartbeats' Harbor is a values-led space for women and their allies. Our Community Guidelines set out who the community is for, what we mean by allies, and how members treat each other. They form part of these terms, and by joining you agree to follow them.

In short:

No direct selling or pitching in the main feed. Share what you offer in the directory and the Village Exchange.

Treat members with respect. Harassment, hate, bigotry, or derailing ("not all men," dismissing women's experiences) aren't tolerated.

What members share in the community, in channels, and on calls stays there. Don't screenshot, repost, or share another member's words, images, or stories outside the community without their permission.

Don't share your login or course materials with anyone else.

Removal. This applies to every member: women and allies alike, free and paid. We may remove anyone from the community, at our discretion, whose participation doesn't align with who this space is for, as described in the Community Guidelines, or who breaks the guidelines.

If you're removed during a paid billing period, your membership ends and won't renew. Whether you get money back depends on why:

Removed for breaking the guidelines: no refund.

Removed because the space isn't the right fit (no guidelines broken): we'll refund at least part of your payment, in proportion to the time left in your current billing period.

8. Live calls and recordings

Fireside at the Lookout calls are held in GoKollab's private live room and are recorded. GoKollab asks for your consent to record each time you join. Recordings are available only to active Lighthouses' Lookout members.

9. Your content

You own what you post. By posting in the community, you let us display it within the community so other members can see it. You have the right and ability to remove it at any time.

We won't use your posts, words, or stories outside the community without asking you first and getting your permission. Anything we collect with your permission stays credited to you as your work.

Don't post content you don't have the right to share.

If someone shares what they shouldn't. Every member agrees to these terms, including keeping what's shared in the community inside it. If a member (or anyone else) copies or shares another member's posts, words, images, or stories outside the community without permission, that person is responsible for it, not Heartbeats' Harbor. We can't control what individuals do, but we take it seriously. If you see it happen, email [email protected]. We'll remove the member responsible and help request that the content be taken down where we can.

10. Our content

All courses, recordings, writing, graphics, and other materials from Heartbeats' Harbor belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own personal growth and work. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or publicly share them without written permission.

11. Third-party platforms

The community runs on GoKollab, the website and billing on HighLevel (GHL), payments on Stripe and PayPal, and writing on Substack. Each has its own terms and privacy policy, and your use of those platforms is also subject to their rules. We're not responsible for their outages, changes, or practices.

12. No guarantees

Everything we offer is educational and supportive. It does not constitute therapy, medical, legal, or financial advice. Your results depend on you and on many things outside our control. See our Disclaimers.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Heartbeats' Harbor is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site, community, or services. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

14. Your consumer rights, wherever you live

Heartbeats' Harbor serves members around the world. Nothing in these terms takes away any consumer protection rights you have under the laws of the country or region where you live that can't be waived by agreement.

15. Governing law and disputes

Heartbeats' Harbor is based in Alberta, Canada. These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, except where the law where you live requires otherwise (see section 14).

If something goes wrong, we'd rather talk first. Email [email protected] and we'll try to work it out together. If we can't resolve it within 60 days, either of us may take it to the courts of Alberta, or to the courts where you live if your local law gives you that right.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make a significant change, we'll let members know by email or in the community before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
